Music learning and fun, for young musicians ages 6 to 17

Monday, June 10th–10 am – 5:30 pm with optional evening activities

Cost: $120 for first participant, $100 for each additional participant

I enjoyed the Tune Tussle performances quite a bit as a viewer; it was very creative and so much better than listening to six groups of kids stand up and play the same three or four songs.
Thanks to everybody who helped make the youth camp possible. It really gives me a lot of motivation to keep learning Irish music. See you next year! I’m already looking forward to it.
The instructor concerts were a great chance for the kids to hear how the music should be played, and to see how the instructors truly enjoyed the music.
My daughter loved the harp class– the teacher did such a good job of incorporating different levels of players.

My student has really made a leap in progress in his Irish fiddling since attending the Youth Camp. He learnt three tunes by ear within the last week! His sense of rhythm has improved a lot too.

You brought back memories of my grandmother’s box accordion that she brought over on the ship 120 years ago. I have always loved Irish music and dance, and to think that my daughter can learn this, thanks to all of you, amazes me.

The Tune Tussle program was fun for the kids and helped them to join together and work with each other. My daughter really enjoyed this class.

My daughter and several of the fiddlers from Austin were featured at a performance last night, and they played a tune they learned at camp. They were so proud of all they learned.
My daughter’s teacher was terrific, and I could tell without asking that my daughter adored her. She must have magic in her heart, for they connected in a very special way.

Great Youth Camp!! It was my fifth year to attend and I plan on returning.
