Parents say…

My daughter LOVED her fiddle class-- she thought her teacher was fantastic!

Can't wait for next year! My son said, "It was fun, but you were also learning."

My kids had fun, met new friends, and learned a lot.

The instructor concerts were a great chance for the kids to hear how the music should be played, and to see how the instructors truly enjoyed the music.

The Tune Tussle program was fun for the kids and helped them to join together and work with each other. My daughter really enjoyed this class.

I enjoyed the Tune Tussle performances quite a bit as a viewer; it was very creative and so much better than listening to six groups of kids stand up and play the same three or four songs.

We loved hearing the instructor concert, very talented players!

My children were very excited about Irish music and what they were able to learn in such a short time.

My daughter and I loved the instructor concert. I think it gave her a goal to achieve, and also the hope that she herself could have friends join in and play together.

My daughter loved her fiddle class. The second day was a little challenging, which was good.

My kids had a great time, and want to come again.

My kids loved the Tune Tussle. Their instructor/coach was great!

My sons raved about their guitar class.

I could describe the camp setting, the instructors, concert, and BBQ as well as the time that you had the children, and it still will never tell the story of what a terrific experience it was.

Both of my children's instrument class teachers were extremely helpful and very friendly.

My daughter was so lucky to have had this special experience with such a talented and gracious group of musicians!

We wish it could have lasted longer!

My daughter felt there was plenty of structure, however it was balanced with an allowance to play at your own level.

My kids have been saying things like "awesome," and "we loved it, can we do it again next year?"

Everyone was super friendly.

The camp was very well organized. Thank you so much for a wonderful camp experience. I do hope you do it again next year!

My daughter loved the harp class-- the teacher did such a good job of incorporating different levels of players.

Only one complaint; our son was so blue when it was all over!

Absolutely A+++ This was nothing like I could ever imagine.

My child LOVED it! He learned a lot, had a wonderful time, was well looked after, and would love to come back!

My son loved his flute teacher. He was great with the children, and very approachable. Also such a talented player, very inspiring!

My children loved their classes and instructors!

My daughter loved her beginning fiddle class and has been playing her tune a lot with her siblings. They plan to perform it in a family concert soon!

I want to thank all of the coordinators, teachers, and volunteers who made this music camp a super success for our children.

I appreciate the great program that you put on for the youngsters! Everything was perfect! Keep up the good work!

My kids really enjoyed getting to learn about the dancing that goes with the music.

My daughter's teacher was terrific, and I could tell without asking that my daughter adored her. She must have magic in her heart, for they connected in a very special way.

Both girls thought the instructor concerts were excellent.

My daughter thought the Tune Tussle was very fun...

My son loved the whole program!

Regarding the instructor concerts: Absolutely a joy to be able to sit, listen, and enjoy!

I only worry that because it was soooo good, all our friends will want to go next year, and soon we'll be fighting for a spot!

After the camp my son missed it so much. It was an experience he will never forget.

Instructors were excellent and easy going. Children were challenged beyond their skill level, but had fun in the process.

My daughter's fiddle instructor was great - good instructions, a nice way of speaking to the kids, and she also demonstrated the music beautifully and clearly.

We will definitely be back and will encourage friends to come too!

I think of the sacrifices my grandmother made to bring her Irish music to this country and to share it with her six children and 18 grandchildren... she would be so proud to know that her great granddaughter attended this camp and learned to play the piano as my grandmother did, by ear!

I'd only signed my kids up for one day of the camp, but they had such a great time that they made me bring them back for the second day!

Great! My son had a wonderful time.

Thanks for the CDs you made for the kids. Good idea, and very useful for remembering the tunes.

Fantastic instructors. My son loved them.

My daughter absolutely had a wonderful time! She learned new music, and made new friends. This connection made her care more for her Irish heritage.

The classes were excellent, according to the young fiddlers in our house who participated.

We love you guys, the sessions were inspiring and fun.

You brought back memories of my grandmother's box accordion that she brought over on the ship 120 years ago. I have always loved Irish music and dance, and to think that my daughter can learn this, thanks to all of you, amazes me.

My daughter did not want to leave so I know she enjoyed it very much.

The classes challenged my daughter to break free from the constraints of music on a page.

My daughter and several of the fiddlers from Austin were featured at a performance last night, and they played a tune they learned at camp. They were so proud of all they learned.
